Today is the 16 year anniversary of the purported murders of late WWE wrestling superstar Chris Benoit’s wife Nancy and his young son. When they were found slain in their home, police estimated the deaths of his family members by his hand happened on June 23, 2007. Chris was said to have committed suicide the next day on June 24, 2007.
What is really suspicious about this case is that Chris, Nancy and their child were all drugged up. Heavily drugged up. So how could he have killed them and himself?
As the story goes, I learned Chris allegedly had a doctor that over prescribed him and his wife drugs from Carrollton, Geogia. This sort of practice, unfortunately, goes on with a lot of major sports figures, not just in wrestling, although the drug abuse rate among wrestlers is most definitely higher than in any other sport.
What really happened on June 24, 2007? Did Chris really kill his own family members? Or was he framed? Was he suicided like late rockers Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington? Did Chris get on the bad side of the most powerful man in wrestling, and it cost he and his family their lives?
Parts 1 and 2 of my independent death investigation revealed some frightening facts that point to ‘foul play’ and the potential framing of the late wrestler by his number one enemy, Vince McMahon, believe it or not.
Pro wrestler Chris Benoit had steroids and other drugs in his system when he killed his wife and young son last month and hanged himself in the family’s home, investigators said.
According to CBS news:
Benoit’s body contained 10 times the normal level of testosterone, which appeared to have been injected shortly before he died, as well as the anti-anxiety drug Xanax and the painkiller hydrocodone, authorities said. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Benoit tested negative for alcohol. The state’s top medical examiner, Dr. Kris Sperry, said there was no evidence of any other anabolic steroids in the wrestler’s body, and nothing to show that steroids played a role in the death of Nancy and Daniel Benoit. “An elevation of that ratio does not translate into something abnormal in a person’s thought process or behavior,” he said.
In 2009, Dr. Phil Astin was sentenced to 10 years in prison for misconduct as a doctor.
A federal investigation found Astin wrote prescriptions without conducting physical exams and sometimes gave patients as many as four simultaneous prescriptions for Percocet. He also prescribed “cocktails” of drugs like Percocet, OxyContin, Vicodin and Adderall.
“Medical doctors know that after a period of time, if the prescriptions are not working, you get them off,” assistant U.S. attorney John Horn said during the hearing.
Investigators cited one case in which an unidentified female patient began receiving a combination of drugs that included Xanax from Astin in 2002. She died in June 2007, the same month authorities discovered the bodies of Benoit, his wife and son in their suburban Atlanta home.
Looking deeper into the findings on the matter, I began to see a sinister plot at work that seemed to be covered up by the mainstream news media, Vince McMahon and everyone else close to the Benoit family.
Readers will recall that someone from WWE headquarters made an entry into Wikipedia about Nancy’s death occurring that no other news outlet had yet revealed. The only person who has access to the WWE headquarters office at that time of night is Vince McMahon.
Was it indeed possible that McMahon hired someone to kill Chris and his family for him. Namely, someone who already had a beef with Chris? Perhaps a scorned lover of Nancy?
The main problem with the theory that Chris drugged his son Daniel on the 23rd when the murders were said to have happened is that records show Daniel was actually sick with food poisoning and was supposed to attend a day camp with the neighbors on the 24th.
Was this all of the truth? Or was Chris being told by someone else under threat of murder to push this false narrative, so that nobody would suspect anything was going on, when indeed his young son did not attend day camp the next day? It is said that this seemed totally out of character for Chris to reach out this way to the next door neighbor.
Nancy’s ex man, Kevin Sullivan, a well known wrestler, threatened Benoit and told him he would kill him.
According to Chris Benoit Fans page on Facebook:
Kevin Sullivan (employed by McMahon) is a high ranking member of the Satanic Church. They live on revenge. By doing this crime, not only would Kevin Sullivan have lived out his Satanic Church creed with his lust for revenge, but he would have destroyed Chris Benoit’s reputation.
Satanists hate the Bible and the police have stated that a Bible was found next to the bodies of Benoit’s wife and son. This would serve as a bizarre calling card as if to either say “What good did your Bible do you?” or to throw off investigators to keep them from suspecting Sullivan and his Satanists would have been involved.
Why would he tie his wife up before killing her? He would have no reason to, but Kevin Sullivan sure would!
When Chris sent the text messages, that could have been a cry for help. Of course he could call anyone. Either that, or the real killers sent the text messages so that the police could find out and so that the faster the police there, the faster Chris Benoit’s legacy could be ruined.
In almost every suicide case, there is a suicide note. Why didn’t Chris Benoit make one? If he did commit these crimes, he had time to write one. Wouldn’t Chris want to write a suicide note, maybe explaining his actions to his fans?
A former LPD says quote, ” I haven’t heard of a suicide note or someone who talked with Mr. Benoit that can say he actually talked to me, that was his voice and he said he killed his wife and son. So so far I’m suspicious that we don’t have another party in this crime and I’m not even that sure Chris Benoit even committed suicide. We need something in his own handwriting or his own voice saying he killed his wife and kid. ” That is true. There is no evidence in handwriting or in a voice of Chris saying he did it. What happened to innocent until proven guilty in the court of law?
In all crime cases, police do DNA, fingerprints etc. Well, In Chris Benoit’s case, they didn’t do any DNA or fingerprints!
This should be a call to the police, a few hours before the police came, a white car was seen leaving the Benoit home. Wasn’t Chris, Nancy and Daniel supposed to be dead at that time? Who was in that car?
When the police arrived to the Benoit home, they didn’t enter because they were scared of the dogs. So they got a neighbor to enter the home by herself. First, how do the police know the area was safe for her to enter. The true killers could have still been there and got her. Second, how do the police know she didn’t mess with evidence?
Fact: When someone hangs themself, their face turns blue, there would be blood in they eyes because of the vessels popping, little blood is on that person, the eyes and tongue poking out of the head and urine and feces would be released. None of this was found on Chris Benoit. His face was normal, no blood in his eyes, tongue inside and no feces or urine on him. The true killers made it look like he hung himself, most likely they strangled Chris so that it would make it look like he killed himself.
The machine that he “hung himself” on his only a inch or so taller then Chris. He was 5’11. Chris’ feet would have touched the floor. Also, Chris weighed 250 pounds. How could a little weight machine hold up Chris’ lifeless body of 250 pounds?
Why would Chris purposely send out a text message knowing that he was going to kill himself? If he really wanted to do that, he wouldn’t have sent the messages out in the first place.
There was a knife under Daniel’s bed. I remember hearing that Nancy said Kevin used to chase her with a knife, the same kind under little Daniel’s bed.
Chris Benoit loved his family more then wrestling. Why would he hurt his baby boy and his best friend. Why would he ruin the 2 things he loved most, family and wrestling. Why would Chris leave his other 2 kids fatherless, and without a stepmom and their baby brother?
The guy investigating the case said he didn’t have experience in the case. There is a main point right there. Why didn’t they get someone who knew that line of cases to investigate it.
According to the co-worker Chris was talking to Friday, Chris said there was a knock on the door and said he’ll be back. The co-worker heard a scuffle then the phone went dead. The cops should look into that.
Chris Benoit was at the doctors office on friday… a witnesses said he was polite, nice, friendly, smiling, soft spoken, posed for picture, signed autograph. this doesn’t sound like a man going home to kill his wife the same night
Benoit was a man who was devoted to respect…why would you work your entire career earning wht you think to be most precious(respect) and then in one move erase it all?
Xanax was found in all three person’s bodies. If Chris was going on a rage, why would he take the time to give it to his wife and kid? Xanax is a sedative, so someone wanting revenge and holding them hostage might have drugged them up so they wouldn’t put up as much of a struggle.
Why would Chris wait a whole day to do what he did to Daniel? Wouldn’t Daniel ask where mommy was and most important, a dead body can smell? Wouldn’t Daniel heard something or smelt something?
Chris’ dad said on fathers day, a few days before the murderers, Chris said he wished he could stay home to be with Nancy and Daniel? Does that sound like someone who was going to commit this crime?
There were gloves beside Nancy? If Chris was going to commit suicide, why would he wear gloves. A killer wears gloves to hide his identity and NOT be found.
14 hours before they were found, someone posted the reason Chris wasn’t at the PPV was because his wife was dead. That doesn’t sound like a coincidence to me. That proves someone KNEW this was going on or the true killers posted it to get the news out sooner.
One also needs to consider the fact that Benoit loved his kids and was so proud of his son that was killed. Why would he hurt the one who he was most proud of. His sons wore suits and ties to his wrestling events and was proud of their dad? He was loved and respected by all those who knew him. Why would he ruin all that?
It’s well known that WWE/ECW owner Vince McMahon did not want Chris Benoit to win a third world title and had already faked his own death in a staged car explosion that was aired on TV (June 11) right before all of this went down with Chris and his family. Was this a sign that he was trying to send to Chris, that doom was indeed headed his way?
McMahon, wrestling as the heel ‘Mr. McMahon’ had lost the ECW championship at One Night Stand on June 3 and shortly thereafter started showing signs of cracking under the pressure of his position.
